Well, as you can see from when my last post was, I haven't been making too many cards lately. But, to go along with a contest for
PTI's 4th anniversary celebration, I'm posting my favorite PTI card(s) from last year. I didn't make too many, so it wasn't a hard choice!
Leaf Prints was a set that I fell in love with right away, and after using it, I love it even more! It was easy for me to sit down and create several cards with this set (even if they were CASE'd from
a card of Niki Estes, like these).
Besides the beautiful maple leaf image, the other leaves are lovely too, and so I set out to make a set of cards! I didn't previously share these on my blog, as they weren't (and still aren't) finished... but you get the idea, right?

I really felt like an artist when I was making these cards; I picked up Distress ink with my little sponge and dabbed it onto the stamps. I loved the gentle blending effect that I got! (It also solved the problem that I have on solid stamps where the distress ink tends to bead up for me.) It took a bit longer, but went fast when watching The Producers (the new one, with Matthew Broderick, in case you were wondering ;) ).
So, those are my favorites from last year, thanks so much for visiting!

Very pretty cards and you were right to feel like an artist while creating them. Great job!
