I finally got through my stores of older cards that were good enough to share with you, and now I can move on to the newer ones!
I recently got the Leaf Prints set from Papertrey Ink (PTI) and I loooove it! I've made several cards with it lately (you should be seeing more as I finish and photograph them), and I must say that I've liked every one so far.
These cards are, of course, both made with distress inks. I am also happy to say that (with the exception of the card fronts (which are the cheap white-but-colored-with-distress-ink paper)), they are made with PTI cardstock! Unfortunately, the ribbon isn't PTI either, but that's on my list too. :-)
For both of these cards, I used my foam applicator to sponge ink onto the stamps for the first time. I really liked being able to get the softer colors, especially on the tan-ish background of the top card. Also it was easy to get the blended orange and red leaves for the bottom card!
Of course, I used my trusty Silhouette to cut out the leaf shape to stamp on (and also for the frame and sentiment area).
Thanks for stopping by!
